Can anyone I.D. this?

I dug this in my yard today. It appears to either be silver or aluminum. If anyone has an idea of what this could be I would appreciate it. It has a crown on it if its hard to see in the pictures.

I am not sure how to tell the difference but this is how it looks next to a silver quarter
