Can anyone identify these stones?

These stones are on a necklace that my mom acquired. She would like to know what they are. They are transparent somewhat. Some have chips or crystal like inside. Thanks in advance for any help.

Any idea where the stones originated from...what area?

Looks to be tumbled quartz. Pretty uniform color as well.
