I found it inside a jewellery box that my grandfather left me when he passed away and am clueless to what it is.
 
I am thinking Hematite or Galena! You should have a Moderator move this Thread to the "Rocks/Gems" Forum.

Is it heavy? If it is. I think your right . Hematite. Square chunks and is real real heavy for it's size.
