My mother had put it out on the railing !! she said the birds were making a mess perching and that this would keep them off gotta love mamas

That don't look like no rubber snake to me...I would of had a heart attack too. I tried that same technique to keep the wrens out of my hanging baskets, the rubber snake was scaring me each time I walked out on the patio.

I thought you guys might get a hoot out of my snake experience !! It took my breath > thought it looked like a very poisonous snake ! really felt a sharp stab in my chest ! Backed up, thought about getting the hoe > threw the dogs chew toy at it > no movement realized I had been had > rubber snake !!! what a morning

When I was a teen my mum had found and picked up a recently deceased tiger snake (in the top 10 of the most deadliest snakes in the world) and left it coiled up outside the door. I must have jumped 4 foot in the air when I walked outside. Yeah real funny mum. I put it in the freezer and took it to school the next day and left it outside the girls toilets - still funny the 2nd day. Pretty stupid in retrospect as the fangs of a dead snake can still poison a person.

When I was in the army I used to take a fake one out bush and leave it on the track to my sleeping area. Also funny......

not a good way to wake up ! hope we dont see any of them things while detecting , if my wife sees one the hunt for will be over for and she wont go for awhile i'd say , glad it was rubber though, just watch when you go mding

If she is that bad with snakes, one of you won't have a detector anymore. You'll have one dead snake and be in the market for a new detector. Not all bad.
