Found this today at an Indian village site looking for arrowheads. It is 3 heavy rocks that have quartz crystal and black metal that is oxidized green. There are also gold, silver and copper specks all throughout. Kind of hoping there might be some gold in there, but I won't hold my breath. Found in S.W. Iowa. Thanks.

The gold looking mineral Could be chalcopyrite with malachite being the green mineral. The silver mineral might be galena. Still thinking on what the black mineral could be. Might be hematite or goethite. Will get back with you if any other minerals come to mind. Nice specimens.
