Can Someone Help Finding Ring

Snagged this little baby from a penny bag that’s been sitting for months😂. I find Indians but seldom like this😘.

My mother recently passed away. We had her wedding ring, but my daugther had it on her finger and we lost it in the grass outback. We looked up that gold could be found with a metal detector. It is a tiny ring 75 years old, my mother was 96. We live on South Hill. We were wondering if anyone lives in this area if they could help us find it.
