Found in a creek today. Any help on Id. One looks like a clam shell of sorts but is solid and the other looks to be like a gourd. Shell thing is 2" x 1 1/2" and gourd thing is 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" . Thanks for any help you can give me. JYD
As has already been pointed out, you have a brachiopod and the ball from the proximal end of femur.

Jaw is from a recent raccoon, Procyon lotor.

Thanks all for the help on IDing. Very interesting, can someone tell me from what time did Brachiopod live? Is the bone old? Thanks again. Good luck to all.
 JYD.
