Hey, one of my relatives from way back dug this up and I have found minerals/rocks similar to it but not similar enough to identify it. so I would appreciate if someone could identify this for me, thanks.

Need better close ups, but my guess from what I can see is agate.

Looks like old slag from an iron furnace. We have a bunch of those old smelters around where I live. Sometimes you run across piles of it that are 20 feet high.
