Can you combine MDing with Remote Control?

Has anyone had any success combining a metal detector with a remote
control vehicle? I'm sure the concept has come up before, but I wonder if
there is some "cheap" and simple solution.

There is a person on YouTube who is the inventor of a R/C metal detector which she calls "Decima". Personally, I think that you'll be better off with a handheld, good 'ol metal detector.
