Can you help identify this coin?

It is worn smooth, very thin, same size as Kennedy half dollar. Can't find anything close in the Red Book of US coins.

Yep that's it...I took both your picture and my picture into PhotoShop and layed one over the other and the lines matched precisely.

Wow! Thanks Pokerbear for the quick reply, I had no clue. Kenb, I can't remember were it came from. I just recently got interested in coins and have been going through boxes of stuff saved over the last 35 years or so. I sure have learned a lot on TreasureNet!!!
