can you help me identify this rock

It may be a section of sliced off geode. Its like half amber & half white translucent quartz with a little cluster of some kind of nodes coming out of it. check out the pics.

It looks like agate, which is a quartz chalcedony. The cluster reminds me of "dog tooth" calcite crystals with some kind of overgrowth on them, but I can't tell for sure. Maybe some one else with more knowledge will pipe in.... Cool rock though!

thanks for the info. I believe you may be right. It is a real cool rock especially when illuminated with good light shining through it!
