Hey bildon!! It's actually spelled Jena, LA! Hemp's Creek area is supposedly the area where gold was found!! I have a good friend at work from Jena, but most of the land is private!! Very interesting note, if you draw a straight line across the state from east to west through Jena, Colfax and the Natchitoches regions, all supposedly had Gold mines of some sort!! OF course we donot even worry about those, because of all the Pirate Treasure we have to haul out down in the southern part of the state!! He He!! GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!
