I found this where I find mostly early 1900's items it's clearly a cat does something this emblem is what I'm really trying to identify

I'm not 100% certain but it looks like the end cap to an old Eveready flashlight.

Well, now I'm not sure about the above thing, but here's at least confirmation that Eveready was correct: Eveready Flashlight - 5 Cell Vulcanite Flashlight with Small Striking Shield and "ER" Logo on End Cap (c. 1902)
