With my DFX I'd just cover it with a clear plastic bag and tape it together. However if it's poaring down it's no fun anyways... Then I'd just let it be. :)

I have put a bread bag over mine if it is misting a little. If it is really raining, I'll hang it up.

Of course Garrett makes a rain cover, but most people use a clear plastic bag of some type.

Become a cache hunter. You can hunt with or without a detector. :icon_pirat:

I wouldn't want to take a detector out in the rain, even covered up, unless it's a waterproof detector. Thats just me.

Just like I tell my recently turned single buddy who goes to the bar every night........
MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE BAG IT! ;D
Dave.

Done some of my best hunting in the rain...I like ziplocks for their resilience.

LOL :D

I have that machine too, but will never take it out in the rain even covered. If the circuts get wet you'll have a nice piece of scrap metal. Wait until after it rains, that works for me.

That's what I'm sayin'. :icon_thumleft:
