🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Candle holder ?

Found in a tote of art deco vintage chandeliers and vintage lamp/light parts, but I think it's a candle holder or ink well holder ?

Saw this in the RCT. I think it's the top of a light fixture, upside down. There would be a glass globe underneath it, and the socket and wiring would go out that hole in the top. Something like this, only fancier:

Little "hooks" on the bottom, if that's the bottom.

I would think the “ladies” around the ring would be oriented “heads up”. Which kinda blows my upside down theory. But I still think it’s the “cap” for a light globe. I’ve seen them facing both up and down on different fixtures.

Because it was found with other lamp parts I can only think it was a part of some art nouveau style lamp. I did see if I might find an example of what I had in mind, but came up empty. The little hooks may have had little cut crystal drops hanging from them is the only thing that come to my mind. The hole in the center was maybe there for a threaded conduit tube that the electric wires ran through to the bulb socket. I pictured a glass globe style bulb cover centered over these dancing nymphs.

I have 2 large totes of vintage lighting parts and pieces so I'm hoping to find parts for it ! Maybe it's for shadows ! Some how.......

Just need to find another example of that very thing with what else it goes to. I have this old floor lamp. I picked it up for $8.00 at a flea market. I believe the glass section is a Steuben blue aurene glass. I was thinking could maybe restore it and did see you can find a fair amount of various vintage lamp parts online. Not sure I'll ever get around to making it functional ever again. I'm not as focused and skilled as ToddsPoint I guess 😏

I still have not found one like it, closest thing were for tea light candle holders.
