🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Canister Shot, Squib Musket Ball, Unidentified Iron?

I came across what appears to be a skirmish site here in New Jersey. Besides the canister shot, a few buttons, and a squib musket ball with a prefect screw thread in it, I found this hollow iron piece. It's 120mm long, 32mm wide and has a hole on each side. It seems like it belongs to the site. Please chime in if you think you have a clue as to what it might be. Thanks

Wow... nice finds. The button is a common flat that should fall in the 1800-1820 time period. Very nice variety of finds... keep up the good work.
