Cannon Ball #2

[KYMD1983]

This is the second cannon ball that I have found near my mother's house.? Its a grape shot that went with many others in a canister packed with sawdust.? I have a better and closer and clearer pic but i cant figure out how to make it small enough to put it on here without making it tiny.

Great find KYMD1983..I found a couple grape shot "ball's" up here in Md.Lot's of fragment's too,Is your's the twelve #er?Being a cabinetmaker by trade,sound's like there's a piece of furniture to be made of that tree.Excellent find..Congrat's and HH!!

ive only seen the tree once and it was just a passing glance
we were on a boat tour of the area and the guide pointed it out

Daniel, it is on the SC side of Little River. Like he said we saw it from a boat, and I don't have a clue how to get to it by land.

The area that I have found the two is about a half mile away from the Big Hill Skirmish, location of a few battles during the Civil War.
