Cannon Ball

Below are some photos of my cannonball......36 inch circumference and weighs around 220 pounds. Any help with info would be greatly appreciated

Cool find. The weight appears to be close to what a 12" solid shot should be. Circumference should be a little over 37". How deep in the ground was that thing?! The Civil War Artillery Projectile and Cannon Home Page Did you find this in Idaho?

I found it in Boise, Idaho about 2 feet down. I'll remeasure and weigh it. Someone else weighed it for me.
