need a clear face on veiw shot --to date the exact cot of arms as to which king.

got it !!!! with the distinctive 3 fluer de lis in a row with loin below on the right side and a slanted line pattern on bottom left side --Phillip the V (5th) of spain -- 1700 - 1746 era.(could it be from a 1715 or 1733 era --treasure wreck vessel?)

Hello Galleon Hunter. I have pictures of every shield of the kings of Spain. Ivan was close but Philip V had curved lines in the lower left quarter with a lion next to it. That shield you posted is the Hapsburg shield of Philip III, 1598 to 1621.
