Can't Figure Out This Hallmark

I found a sterling silver ring at the beach today, but I can't figure out a part of the hallmark that is imprinted inside of the band. It Says SD[].925. I Know that the ".925" means 92.5% silver, but I have no idea what the "SD" means. I have been on the internet for the past hour searching for an answer but all I could come up with was Steven Douglas and Synthetic Diamond, and given that I found two possibilities I am at a fork in the road and don't even know if either of those is correct. Can someone please help me?

I believe it means that the ring is silver and the stones are cubic zirconium

It's not silver dipped because it has the 925 mark on it that already means that the percentage of silver in it

There's also a very good chance that SD is the designers initials
