This spot keep producing awesome coins and relics!! I found my first capped bust silver! An 1832 half dime!! I was sooo pumped when I saw it laying in the sand! Also found this cool 1837 anti Andrew Jackson hard times token "jackass running". Also found another William III halfpenny and an awesome cuff link!! Has anybody seen one like it before?

That one is but not the one up top.

I thought the ribbons were a dead give away but I don't know much about coins! The coin also isn't even close to being perfectly round.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1442064121.249844.webp
Here's a better picture of the one from yesterday. Thanks for your help!

With that picture I think you are right. In the darker picture it looks like a split at the back of the bust and appeared to be longer hair because what would have been the bow... just one that was not enclosed on your coin. But now it looks like it's just discoloration and looks like it probably is William III. It may be a cast counterfeit and that would explain why it is not round.

Great hunt that you had, it would put a glowing smile on my mug.

As has been previously stated,, those are a couple of finds on the bucket list for me.
Really nice hunt:icon_thumleft:

Capped busts are not easy to come by. Nor are W3's. Nor are hard times tokens. I found all three but all at once is absolutely nuts!! Congrats on a steal hunt
