I called Buddy this afternoon, before I went detecting. As usual, he showed up on our wooden deck to get some free peanuts. I gave him a quick metal detecting 101 course on the hobby of metal detecting. He seemed very interested too! He figured a metal detector could help him find some deep buried nuts.


Below he is checking out my latest rig..... What is he about to say?

I see that you are from Canada, apparently things are different up that way. I live in The South, and we eat squirrels. Buddy looks really tender and all those peanuts will make him succulent and sweet!

That's OK......I threatened Buddy once, after he bit me, to hang him in my dehydrator, smoke him and eat him if he ever did that again!
