Well I checked them and they were. I had a low tire on the truck once and it got pinholes in the side and had to buy a new one. Who wants to get a flat in ten below weather on the highway ?

I always carry a can or two of fix a flat. Bring it inside during the winter though it will freeze. In case of emergency and you are a ways from civilization with a flat and no spare. Cut a flap in the side wall and stuff the tire as much as you can with hay,dry grass,etc. Jack the car up first. It will work well enough to get you out of trouble.
