Is the carousel moulded resin? Does it play a tune? Any marks or labels on the base?

I believe the carousel is from 'Classic Treasures', importing various musical box items from Taiwan/China since the 1970s. They can be either resin or porcelain. The resin ones with teddy bears on the horses seem to have asking prices around $40-$45

Walmart sells an updated version with brighter colours for $75:

I believe the carousel is from 'Classic Treasures', importing various musical box items from Taiwan/China since the 1970s. They can be either resin or porcelain. The resin ones with teddy bears on the horses seem to have asking prices around $40-$45
