I did a 90 minute hunt tonight and the first 60 minutes was trash and shotgun headstamps. I finally got a good IHP signal that was not a shotgun shell headstamp. It turned out to be toasty V nickel and 1879 indian. Im pretty sure the v is an early one cause I havent found any indians past 1885 here. I got a shallow bouncy 70-82 on the AT Pro next. I was thinking possibly another indian. Turned out to be silver. Got it home cleaned it up. 1877 CC Seated dime. Seated number five from here

Here is the one I found in 2015.
It was found in an exposed river bed after dams were removed in 2013.
These dams were built in 1905.
This V is 1901.
Possibly lost pre-dam build.
It was so crusty but after soaking in peroxide/vinegar solution and all the crud dissolved, a date showed which made me happy.
Also found some wheaties but sooooo crusty.
