Caspar Motor Oil Gallon Can

I found an old, rusty Caspar Motor Oil Gallon can.....

Can anyone tell me when this company was in operation?

I'm trying to place it around 1928-1933, and with aircraft engines, so I can fairly assume of it's owner.

Thanks for that. I hit google every way i could think, i just found pictures of the quart cans, no information at all.

Your information puts it as available during the period i was hoping for, I wonder when it went out of business.

Probably be hard to connect it with aviation. I would think a motor is a motor......to a point.
