There really is gold In missouri.
A buddy and i went to a creek about 50 miles north of St. Louis, this creek is bedrock city! We used our sucker tubes to suck out the holes and cracks.this is a pic of gold I found, what is odd is there is very little black sand, mostly blond sand. Also no glacial cobble. The gold l found is chunkky not flat like most glacial gold. I ended up with about 6 grains. Has anybody out there found gold like this in missouri?

Might want to swap out that hand dredge for a real dredge!
