Been going over some cellar hole sites because we had a few days of heavy rain,... wanted to see what washed up. This little run-off stream had 3 indianheads, also found this clay pipe when digging one of them. The small 10k ring was at the base of a big maple tree. the rest is mostly scrap items. I was hoping to find a crotal bell or a large cent, but no luck.... it is my first clay pipe tho :headbang:

great finds. nice ring

Great relics and coins

my guy in elmira said it was turquoise

even with that pic I can tell that ain't turquoise. at least in the pic it looks more along the lines of an emerald

1.gif ring is great find !

Great finds !!!!! Congrats !!! But the stone in that ring, looks like no turquois I've ever seen ? Looks more like Green Beryl or a emerald. You might want to go talk to your guy again.

Prolab69,

Nice finds!!!

even with that pic I can tell that ain't turquoise. at least in the pic it looks more along the lines of an emerald

I agree the stone is clearly (pun intended) not tortoise, tortoise is not a clear gemstone as is apparent with the one in the ring, it looks as mentioned more like an emerald

he said a jem stone, turquoise was what came to mind. he popped it out of the setting and it was cracked and chipped, the diamond was the bulk of the price, the gold was about $60. i was just happy to get paid for it. when i found it i didnt see a mark so I thought it was fake, he cleaned it and found the mark. it was in my cars ashetray for 2 days, lol. if it was older i would have held on to it.

Nice finds guy ! I really like your statue of liberty badge - is there any writing on the back of it ? (that's not like any turqoise I've ever seen)

Score! Imagine the stories behind these items. Awesome.

Relics & a gold ring. I t doesn't get much better than that!
