What a day! I was walking through the woods, and decided to hunt a different spot for a change. I remembered seeing a cellar hole on the other side of the river, and figured i'd brave the iron with the dd coil. When I got to the hole, a distinct almost well like structure with stone walls, I got a loud 8 singal on the dfx. 8 is a low sound, reserved for foil. I spotted a beer can nearby, so i figured foil and would dig it anyway because it might be masking something underneath. I double checked it, and the pinpoint was .5 inch. That is way too shallow for a foil signal given the density and sound of the signal. I push the leaves away, reach into the dirt, and pull out a silver looking chain. It seemed strange, since when does silver chime in at 8? It's also too heavy anyway. I check the dirt and the hallmark on the bracelet and it's 14 Kt white gold! I am in shock! I hunt a little more and just get iron, and also get a 1974 nickel before crossing the logs. I snuck into one of the bakery classes during their break because they have the most precise scales and it lights up the display at 1.56 ounces. That's almost $700 in gold given the prices. I have no idea why someone would want to wear gold in the woods, I am just in total shock right now.

I've gotta start digging the foil signals. Great find.
