ok i could be wrong but i have seen others on here and they called them pendents. rocks with hole's in them? they were drilled.DorkFish said:Are you sure those are Pendants. They just look like rocks with holes in them to me.
OK i took a closer look and from what your saying i think your right on all of them but one, it's the flint rock i will take a better picture of it and maybe you can decide if that one is drilled or just a hole but i think it's drilled.. The hole stone's make sense, maybe you can help me out with another rock that i have? It reminds me of hard mud trying to form into stone, It came out of a creek and if you shake it you can feel and here something rattle around in it! It has nothing to do with Indian's but i thought it was cool..DorkFish said:I'm not trying to dispute you, especially since you have them in hand and all I have is pictures, but the holes just don't look drilled to me. They look more like holes that have been formed by a softer material weathering out of a harder material. I know there are such things as Pebble Pendants because I few a couple from a Ft Ancient site I hunt. But those look more like what we call Holy Stones, or simply put, stones with holes in them.
That bead i found in a ditch next to a dirt road, they had been a fire in the field next to the road where a old camp site was and the road went up a lil hill, i think when they built the road they went over some graves cuzz i found that bead there and some other things.Carolina Points said:Nice pendants, Like that lttle bead also
