Heres a photo of my latest project, it saves heaps of walking.

We drilled and fired a shot at the face on the weekend, the vein is getting thicker but I havent sampled it yet. The country rock around the vein is becomming highly distorted, I think we are nearing where it should buckle to the left and then we will be onto the ore shoot (I hope)

Great all way round. Fine conversion of the JD.Carry a coffee can of dry sand to sprinkle on the 'damp,rusty days' rails to greatly improve traction and safety.

Good luck on that next sample.

The tractor is awful nice, once you get rail set.
We could have used one back when... I don't know why they didn't have one.
Most the drifts were far too small.

At one point they brought in an Eimco 911, not nearly as nice as this one,
but the mine had been worked for too many years by hand, and it was just too big.
And we sure didn't have all that fancy overhead protection! Ha!

They tried opening up a few different places, but it didn't work out.
The Eimco got sold.

But that's the mining biz!
