I love covered bridges, is that KY? It's still standing, but can you still drive over it? We have a few here and it's kind of wierd driving through them, wooden decks and all. :)

Thanks for sharing. See ya!

How cool is that! Great pictures. Are you thawing out at all? (light snow here tonight, I hope)

Thawing out? You are taking to the woman who wears longjohns under her swimsuit in June....The girls just finished making Easter bunny snowmen in the yard....does that tell you anything....LOL

My great grandmother was 12 years old when she came to America...she had traveled alone ....she said it was very early in the morning ,just a foggy haze of the sun coming through ,when all of sudden everyone started rushing toward the deck rails ....she was pulled along and couldnt understand what was happening....she thought the ship was going to sink....everyone was excited and then through the mist appeared the Statue of Liberty's torch....she said she had never seen anything so beautiful in her life....the crowds went silent and all you could hear was sobbing...and as the fog parted and her full inmage came into view a great roar rose from the people as they cheered and began hugging one another...

Chitlin those are too cute!

Steve I didn't think we would get route 66, so if it's the only one you got, it counts for a ton! Great job!

Kim,
It is all beautiful.
I hope there is a little room for my own special canyon.
It is one of the most peaceful places on earth.
