Charms/Totems

This is the closet section I could find to post this,as I used some PricklyPear syrup to stain one of the pieces.I made them from some cow bone pieces and all Abo. work and tools.
Just startin out.

Shapein up.

I also started to make a Matate as well.

Not much but I like'em.

I filled in the lines with Midden dirt.

This the 3rd one..I am going for a bird.

All filled in....Now to dye it with PricklyPear syrup.

After a few days...

Almost done...

All done..About 3 weeks in I think...And it's been dry now for about 3 days..Hope it was stable.

Very nice! The length of time spent justifies the outcome (minus the blisters) in my opinion. I'll be the first to admit, I had to google prickly pear sryup...lol. That's a cool color left behind. As I have zero talent to create, I marvel in what others can do....very nice work.

Thanx....I did work hard on them....The 1st 2 have our totem on'em(The Dawn)(Sunshine Clan)Those were made for friends that made it to our hearts(The missing one is for you Larson my friend,just aint done yet)The dyed one was for my wifeDawn.She choose our Animal Totem -The Grackle.

That's a cool undertaking and a great job on them, too. How many hours do you believe it took you to make one of them?
