Chauffeurs badge and some type of key

Hunting a couple area parks. Found a 1941 minnesota chauffeurs badge(my first),a Lone Ranger pocket knife, a key chain with a patent date of 1879 with some type of key on it. I also found a toasted shield nickel. Anyone know what type of key it is?
