I have the first version that came out with the 600/800. It works great! Land only though.....can't use it in the water. I've used RNB batteries for years in my Etrac and Excalibur. All the ones I've used were better than the stock batteries.

Yes, definitely nice to have a backup plan! Nobody likes to get to the field and realize you forgot to charge their battery. lol
