This came from a new spot not too far from work. A ridge overlooking a bottom....has potential. Hoping for a little more when it dries out enough to dig again.

Morning,

Hummm....I was calling it a castroville....but could be an edgewood I guess....though a little larger.

Checking out a cutover tomorrow...have found points there before, even a couple of san pats....they planted it and did some dirt work. Could be a few still around.

Looks like your onto a nice spot. I like that point. Not often you find an edgewood that nice. (Castroville are larger and found seldom east of the Trinity River, however a similar point of a different classification is found in Oklahoma and Arkansas into N.E. Texas, but they are older than the Central Texas Castroville point.
