Check out today's finds

Well there only worth something if you count not having to repair tires.? I am slowly cleaning my? entire yard of metal items and this is from a 3x4 foot square I also found to pieces of pipe that were about 8 inches down.? They are not pictured but it was the left over peices from when the house was built.? also there is one brass arcade token.? I would have more but I was only able to detect for about 30 mins before it started raining agian.? Its rain almost every day since last thursday.

Rain can be your best friend when you are hunting as long as its not a steady downpour and you can tolerate it. as in a light mist or drizzle the rain soaking the ground allows your detector to operate better i am sure there are some more knowledgable people here that can explain this better then i could but i allways seem to have much better luck when the ground is wet a little messy but effective so bag that Detector in a ziplock or even a bread bag and have at it.

Yeah,it also makes for easier digging. When I was in Ky. last summer I was hunting an old homesite and the ground was hard as a rock.I needed a hammer to beat my knife into the ground.Well, luckily it rained a day or two, which then made digging much easier. The state I live in is mostly sand which makes digging always pretty easy, plus it rains on and off all the time(3 diff. showers already today). So unless your in a constant rain situation, cover that unit up and have at it! Good Luck and H.H.
