Check Stamped Pottery Shard Creek Find

I think most of us are having some really dry weather and that means it's really hard to find stuff. My creek is so dry I've resorted to raking it with a garden rake and working my way downstream in areas I have never gone this deep but with the creek so low I have no choice. Today my back breaking hard work rewarded me with a small check stamped shard and that gives me more initiative to keep trying and I will tomorrow since I'm off for Labor Day.
