Checked out pocket change

Went through one of my coffee mugs I've been putting pocket change in. Had the following results:

Pennies
1917 D
1951
1973 with JFK portrait stamped into it

Nickels
1946

Dimes
1964 Rosie

Canadian
1975 Penny
1985 Quarter
1987 Quarter

When I pay for stuff I always give them bills that way I get to sort through the change. I seem to get the best stuff at gas stations. Plus I save the change till hard times and I can refinance myself.

Yeah, I don't pay with change for anything. I save it all and keep it in a coffee mug until it's full, then I check the change and put it in a coffee can to be turned in later. I use the can change to pay for activities on our anniversary.

That's funny! I'll bet many of us on here are like that with change.I'll break a dollar for a nickel even if I have a couple bucks in change already in my pocket.Nice finds Bobr,good luck and keep searching!

I had about 1000 in change and got rid of most have about 300 to 400 left and climbing I am going to check that and see if it has anything good

Nice finds. I always overshoot how much I drop into the coke machine so it has to spit out either 5 or 15 cents change. Got a nickel that way in the 1940's once.
