A friend and I hit a row of condemned houses that were purchased and due to be razed by a local school district to make room for a new school. A nice gentleman from across the street came over to visit and we were able to get permission from him to detect his front lawn too! My loot included about a pound of metal and wooden chess pieces, which I learned were part of a magnetic chess set made by Wegiel. Also found a toasted pocket watch and other standard widgets and relics. The marked .925 ring was a welcomed sight, it has a possible sitting bird design and a yellow stone. Thanks for peeking, get out and dig as much as you can! Cheers, Sub
