Cherry Creek area

Just wondering if anyone has done any detecting along Cherry Creek or Happy Canyon Creek in the Parker area? I have read there were several mining camps along the creeks and I was wondering if it would be worthwhile.

Smart question. Just stay off of Douglas County Open Space lands. They won’t let you take anything or dig.
