I have this little cherry side table, and I was wondering if anyone has seen joinery like this drawer front and what it’s called ? ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1520134799.076326.webp

That's cool!! I love good wood working but I can't do it. I can take a piece of metal and make anything any thing you could ask for. I can take a piece of nice wood and make sawdust !!

Cool, 1871-1900. I rescued the little table from a friend who found it somewhere and was using it as a work bench to cut wood on, consequently all 4 edges of the top had deep circular saw gouges in it. I trimmed the damaged portions off and put on a maple breadboard edging duplicating the original profile. The cherry with the maple worked out well and it ended up as a surprise Valentine’s Day gift to my wife. I was on the “A” list for a long time afterwards !

If you show other parts of the table that haven't been redone maybe it can be attributed to a certain maker. Also look at bottom of drawer it could have makers info or bottom of table top.

That was my first thought actually, but she has this big doily thing over it an a bunch of stuff on it which I am loathe to move, repercussions are always imminent, Lol !

ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1520198624.893774.webp The drawer pull is pretty neat, and during refinishing I couldn’t see any evidence that it had ever been changed. It was actually painted over white like the rest of the table.
