Chesapeake Diamond Found along the river

While walking Charlie last night, I found this Chesapeake Diamond point. These are very commin in Virginia and often overlooked by amateurs who mistake them for flakes or simple rocks. The experts say that it is very common to find them with one of the points broken, though I have never heard an explanation as to why that is.

Hahaha. Thanks brother. Speaking of Glocks..... this arrowhead thing is interfering bigtime with my reloading! My loading bench is covered in points, flakes, broken glass and rocks! Oh..... and lots of empty shells

Here's a Quartz Chesapeake diamond from the Bull Run area
