Looks more like a 1930's bangle.

Could be modern Mud - I did show it to a civil war expert last week and said it was interesting and didn't think it was modern. I'm going back this weekend -hopefully i can find something with engraving on it for a change.. This site is produced many common colonial and 19th c. relics..
