We had not gotten so far in our planning as to know yet as far as driving or flying but you are so very generous and sweet to offer. ~hugs~ I will talk it over with David and see what he thinks about how to do everything. I know we both really want to be there.

Someone needs to talk to Marc about adding a smiley face that has tears but a smile.....that sure is how a lot of you make me feel lately! love ya all!!

You could fly to Springfield...we will pick you up at airport ...stay with us....we could cook up some delicious treats....and then take you to Kansas with us....we have double cab truck with slidein camper...so there is room....

Reading these posts reminds me if you fly in to Wichita I will personally pick you up and drive you back to the airport. If you have your own plane we have an airport here with lights. If you need to borrow a plane I have three. They are model airplanes so good luck flying them.
No kidding I will be glad to pick anyone up at the airport.

hmmmm....if it's 10th Oct weekend...that may be cutting it close for me to take time off work...we have our next Pipsico Hunt on 17th Oct weekend (not confirmed, just penciled in right now)....I would love to attend this hunt!!!

I'll keep posted on this and see how things go when we get closer.....if not Ron and I, possibly could just be ME!!! Which is fine with me...sometimes Moms need to get away too!!!

We'll see how things go....and if I (or both of us come along)....we will be driving!

Oh, I hope we can make it...fingers crossed. Is this date set in stone for the 10th of October weekend?

Surely there's someone here with some Air Force pull that can get Cyndi and Dave on a C-130 that can do a low level parachute drop of urgently needed supplies of onion rolls and beef jerky.

LOL David used to be in the air force and somehow I don't think he would be near as excited to do a parachute drop as I would be! My son Doug and I have always planned to go together sometime and actually do a jump. I am quite certain someone would have to give me a push to get me out but once I was out......wooooooohoooooooo! I know.....get a bunch of folks to make an america's funniest home video of the old grandma jumping out of a plane and get sponsors! rofl
