I could use some matches, though I don't smoke. Need them to refresh my survivor bag. I perfer the stick type over the paper ones if I can have a choice. They are just better to waterproof.

LOL, BEF answered before me. I'm getting the northerly winds, no rain yet. Just spoke with nephew in Thomasville, GA (about 35 miles north of Tallahassee, FL) flash flooding, still raining, reported 12" of rain...news stated 20" for Tallahassee. Sent a PM to Cheese and Pepper, they both live in/around/close to Thomasville. I see Nana is getting rain, our rains suppose to start later tonight.

Use a 9v battery and a fine steel wool pad.Just rub the battery vigurously across the steel wool and have some paper or something wa la fire!.

well I have had a steady rain all day, hopefully the east side of Fay will be just as peaceful when that part gets here.

Know one man died by Tallahassee, Lineman for Gulf Power, heard trees fell on his truck as he was waiting it out to start working.

Since we have a break in the weather I would like to make an announcement. :tongue3:
The cow patties are wet and steaming. Should be getting good and ripe by October. I didn't know if you liked them smoked or pour goats milk on them. I chose goats milk for the ripe smell. :evil6: :icon_biggrin:
