Where is Bran(Godisnum1)? Was looking forward to meeting him at the hunt.I don't think he has been on as much lately,ummm,must be some lucky lady has all his attention now,huh?

lol this is true! I see him on myspace sometimes too but have not heard whether he is coming to the hunt. I sure hope so and the lucky lady with him too!!

Unfortunately Bran's (Godisnum1) computer has finally kicked the bucket and he asked me to tell you both that he is planning on going, but because of his schedule he doesn’t think he will be able to make all 3 days, his plan is to arrive early Saturday and leaving late Sunday night…

Sadly I wont be able to make it this year, but I am planning to attend the next one…
if anyone has any messages for him i would be happy to pass them along...

And suddenly he appears........!!!!!!!! Yep, it's me y'all. The Ridgerunner is back on the loose.... How's some of the best hunting buddies I every had been? Well, been a long time eh! I've been thinking about everyone since I couldn't make the LBH hunt. I really hate that I missed that one. But I won't miss this one. My good buddy and guardian angel WarsawDaddy contacted me the other day and pretty much said where the hell have you been. Well y'all, I ain't been hunting since I went to Va in March. That's it for the year. So, I get to figure out how to turn my machine on again at the CTH2 hunt. Wouldn't have it any other way.
I've been pretty busy doing some fundraising for my daughter. As some of you know she got invited to the Presidential Inauguration in Jan. She was selected by the Presidential Inauguration Youth Counsel. First year they've ever selected kids that belong to the National Junior Leadership Counsel....!!! I'm as excited as she it and I can't even go. Neither can my wife though. The kids will be there for about 6 days. They will visit monuments, go to conferences, and listen to key note speakers. On Inauguration day they will attend the event and witness as the next President and Vice President take the Oath of Office, listen to more keynote speakers and also go to the Gala Ball. Wow right!!!! So far the wife and I have raised 1100 dollars of the 3000 that has to be paid. The second installment has been sent, which I've paid for, so now all that's left is the plane ticket. I truly wish I could go experience this with her but as I said, parents aren't allowed to go. My daughter is very bright and has been at the top of every grade she's attended. She's in 7th grade this year and is 12 years old. I don't think y'all have every met her. Most of you only met Alex. He's as bright as she it. Yeah, I know what your thinking.......Scott has smart kids!!!!!? Well, they got their mother's genes!!! LOL!
Anyway, I'm gonna have to get my money out. Birdie, please save me a slot.... If y'all are wondering I've not heard from Schloopy since early June. He had some problems that's not my place to get into but I will say that his Dad got hurt really bad on a construction job in Hawaii. Since he told me that in June I haven't heard from him since. I think he may've went to Hawaii to be with his parents until his Father got better. From what I understand he got hurt pretty bad. I've called his cell phone numerous times and have also emailed him like crazy. I'm just hoping he's alright. I will continue to try and contact him!!!! Maybe some of y'all can do the same if you have his contact info. Or better yet blow up his TNET email!!!!!!!! Ha! Let's hope he comes around before the hunt. A hunt is not the same without my running buddy to stir things up!!! Rowdy Bunch extremists we are him and I!
Hey, on a lighter note.... If any of you guys have an idea on how I could raise any money for my daughter I'd be glad to hear it. I've exhausted all my charming talents here in small town Missouri......

OK...I have been working on this for about a month or so and I am offering this to Burdie as a prize for the hunt. I did this exclusively for this hunt. I hope everyone likes it. I feel it pays tribute to this sport and all that ground we swing our detectors over. I titled it "Saving History While Making History ".

Well hello pretty lady!! Thank you so much for letting us know! I am really glad Bran will be able to come even if it is only for a portion of the time we are there. Hopefully next time you will be able to come with him.....are you SURE you can't come? We would love to have you there! Thanks again for the update! R_R Yep its about time you showed up we've missed you and your buddy if you reach him let him know prayers are sent for his dad and family.

$ events car wash, maybe your church could help with a bake sale, garage sale, maybe painting store winow fronts for fall, Halloween, homecomming events the paint doesnt cost much and alot stores like that in the windows we pay about $20-25 to have it done then after go clean it off (Tempra paint).


Tom that is going to cause someone to get mugged to get it ! That is absolutly beautiful thank-you so much for the time and love and care that you obviously put in to making it I cant wait to bring it home with me!

I have told BB he is wasting God given talent. I told him he should do more art work and sell it and buy and Explorer!!

Really though guys you should see this thing in person (You will in Oct) BB has some SERIOUS talent and I am very jealous of him.

His bestest hunting buddy asked him to make one of those for him and he told me no.

have an acquaintance who is a professional artist and sells a lot of his stuff for many $$$. BB's work is just as good as his. I'm no critic but I think so at least. I'd like to see that on a T-shirt. Monty

R_R - I am glad you will be able to be here for the CTH2...congrats on your daughter being selected to attend the inauguration. Just a few suggestions...donations from civic organizations (Am Legion, Amvets, Lions Club, Kiwanis to name a few) bake sales, garage/yard sales, car washes, anything that will help to raise money.

Bran/Ashlee - Glad you will be able to attend even if it's not the whole 3 days, wish Ashlee could be here too but we will be able to meet at another hunt.
