You guys all have no idea how much I am looking forward to this.....I cant believe this is just a couple of weeks away! i have wanted to meet you all for quite a while and now its happening.....Hope everyones plans to go work out. I had a nightmare weekend because the slave went out on my truck again and last time it took three weeks for them to fix it....but the guy called yesterday and said it would be fixed by today!!!!Yeehaw!....These hills are murder on a clutch!!...No wonder they used mules and oxen....ANYWAY ....I am starting to pack this afternoon.

Well, I'm sorta packing...trying to figure out what bag is the biggest that would be allotted to the scooter. Can't pack 9 pairs of shoes like Nana, Lucky if I have room for 1 pair, plus the boots I'm wearing. The cooler weather will have us bringing the leather jackets so both saddle bags are full.

Gypsy,most of us down here in MO with the hills,use the brake instead of the clutch to keep from rolling backwards.

What's this two weeks stuff, Cyn.....I'm starting out next Wednesday! Figure on stopping a day or so in Missouri to visit with my 2 brothers and then head my pickup straight for the Blackwell, OK Super 8 motel. Heck, I've already started packing suitcases!

Gayle seems to be doing ok. She has a doctor's appt on the 1st at which time they will take out her staples. She has already given me my marching orders......I am to be on the road on Oct 1st.....she doesn't need me at the doctor's appt. You don't think I'd chance arguing with her on this point do you? LOL

Besides, I want to get all of the gas before everybody else gets it.....LOL
