As far as I know a pretty young lady for Oregon should be chug-a-lugging into Blackwell's Super 8 sometime Thursday...be on the look out for her and her faithful companion.

We will be at the Super 8 on the 10th. Did anyone notice the motel sets between Cripple Creek and Stink Creek ? Hope that's not a omen.

And I am driving a Ford 150 burgandy double cab pickup...it should have two jabbering girls in it and a bed full of lots of junk because we always overpack.....if anyone sees me broke down somewhere......... STOP!!!!!!.......but if you see me swinging a coil ...LOL....just honk and wave....I plan on hitting a few spots along the way

Gypsy,from sprngfld,we will be taking I-44 thru Joplin and the last exit before the turnpike is for hwy 166.We take 166 all the way.You would turn south on I-35 at South Haven to go down to Blackwell.That's the shortest and quickest way for you also.Some mapquest will try and route you thru okla but it will be about 75mi further and take you longer.

For those staying at the Super 8 in Blackwell, there are several places that's pretty good food. Rating in order, I'd say the Plainsman out at the I-35 exit on Highway 11, Los Potros Mexican Restaraunt (same area), there's Bob's Grill at 221 S. Main in Blackwell, and Stack's next door to the hotel.

Stack's is convenient and opens earlybut there ambiance is a bit weak (lol).



I have had better chicken fried steak but for $5.99 at the time, not bad. Cell phone makes things a bit distorted. :P


Dollar General, WalMart, United Grocery is across from Super 8.
