Well after all that treking...I think most everyone has arrived. There may still be a straggler or two.





Now it's on to the hunt and a bonfire tomorrow evening. Herds of hot dogs, marshmallows, and s'mores.

Texas Connection & myself bunkered down quite nice last night in his camper out back of Burdie's place... and while I'm finishing up my breakfast, he's out seeing about some goodies over at a local yardsale. I'm pretty stoked for the hunt today, though I know I'm about to get schooled by some of T-Net's finest!! It's a good mornin' here in Caldwell....

Well,I got run off early again.Got home at 11:45 this am.I'll have to collect my thoughts a little before I really get into this.You see,Baldingboy shared my room!What more can I say right now.I went after some extra bath towels and the desk clerk was a little hesitant until I explained that BB was incontinent and we needed to put them under him at night or else,and they just asked how many do you need? I didn't tell BB this.I remember finding a 1879 indian head and a token for Lost Treasure and a boxcar of undescrible iron.I got another hit and asked gunsmoke to dig it.After the hole got to be about16x16",out came a metal,flat disc,but signal still there,as the hole increased,I left him there and Ros,nan,joined him in digging,when I next checked,they had pulled a skillet out and the hole was about 2ft x 2ft.They next came across some bricks and broken mason jars,I couldn't take it anymore and left and shortly after, they broke for lunch.I will let them finish it up.I'll think a bit and posts some more.But,yes,it was terrific seeing everyone again,especially the hugs and kisses and my new badge of honor!

Some one said I was a sleep standing up during festivities and the picture proves it. After all the exhaust-en I still love seeing friends enjoying themselves. It makes this all worth while for me. God Bless all for coming.
I would like to thank Kellyco, White's, Garrett, and Minelab. I have some pictures of great hunters in action. I was fired from taking pictures after the sunflower shot. I may be old but I am young at heart.
